RHEA is an independent platform for interdisciplinary artistic explorations, focused mostly on theater and cinematography. RHEA began its activity in 2021 in Bucharest, Romania.

We are an interdisciplinary group with a feminist and interactional approach, formed of actresses, playwrights, and film directors from Romania. We support both experimental and popular artistic expression.

We intend for our artistic projects to open the path to social dialogue on topics relevant to contemporary society. Furthermore, we address topics relevant to female audiences and provide a workspace especially for female artists and professionals with whom we share common values.

We believe that art should play a role in developing people's social imagination in order to create new, more solidary and inclusive ways of organization, as well as an important role in the education and development of all.
